InfoGard grants certification to DR Systems eHR for medical imaging
InfoGard, a certification body of the office of the national coordinator (ONC-ATCB), has granted a complete ambulatory electronic health record (EHR) certification to DR Systems' e|HR meaningful use for medical imaging solution.
DR Systems'EHR is 2011/2012 compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
DR Systems co-founder, chairman and radiologist Murray Reicher said an analysis of meaningful-use requirements for radiologists to use a cloud-based, vendor-neutral, imaging-centric, complete ambulatory EHR is clear which can aggregate data from patients and upstream systems like a PACS, RIS, or HIS.
"This certification is good news for the profession because radiologists can now meet the deadline with an affordable solution that improves their workflow," Reicher said.
